everybody that does college level research keeps notes. if that guy's paper was stolen and plagiarized by his professor that guy just had to present the evidence to the college and that prof would be fired and all those 'contacts' wouldn't do a lick of good. also, the sexual harassment would have gotten him fired, being drunk constantly, and the power harassment as well. there was no reason to kill the prof, just ruin the rest of his life.
